Password & Security

Manage your account password and control access settings.

You can access these settings at Settings → Security.

🔒 Change Your Password​

If you signed up with email and password, you can update your credentials at any time.

To change your password:

  1. Go to Settings → Security.
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Choose a new password (must be between 8 and 72 characters)
  4. Confirm the new password
  5. Click Update Password

🛂 Set Your Password (for OAuth accounts)​

If you signed up using a third-party provider (like GitHub), your account is secured with OAuth only.

You can optionally set a password to also enable email + password login.

  1. Go to Settings → Security.
  2. Click Set Up Password
  3. A confirmation email will be sent to your current email address
  4. Follow the link to create your password

Once set, you can log in with either OAuth or email/password.

🔐 Security Best Practices​

  • Use a password manager to generate and store strong, unique passwords
  • Enable 2FA (coming soon)
  • Use OAuth sign-in when possible — it's secure and convenient
